I'm happy to use the Nvidia drivers, but I'm wondering if someone might be able to help me install them? That display then went black, and I saw nouveau 0000:01:00.0: unknown chipset (192000a1) on the HDMI display.įrom what I gather, this is because there is no driver for the GPU yet using the open-source nouveau drivers. I selected LM cinnamon from the GRUB menu, and then saw the splash screen on the DP display.
I nothing on the DP monitor but saw the GRUB menu on the HDMI display. I powered down the machine, added another monitor, connecting it via HDMI to my GPU, and then restarted. This was with a DP cable connected to my mobo. Upon the initial boot after installation, I saw the LM splash screen and then my display went black. I recently installed LM 21.1 Cinnamon (64 bit) on a fresh PC build, specs below.
